Penzance Hostel

This early Georgian manor house, in landscaped gardens, commands sweeping views of Mount's Bay and the Lizard Peninsula. Visit St Michael's Mount and St Ives (home of the Tate Gallery), or take a boat to the Isles of Scilly. There's a wide choice of meals, from speciality fresh baked pizzas (the best you'll eat in a hostel according to the 1997 Berkley Guide), to traditional Cornish clotted cream ice cream.
