Skiddaw House Hostel

A former shooting lodge at 1550ft beneath the summit of Skiddaw. Coal and wood burning stoves provide a warm welcome. On the Cumbria Way, with a choice of footpaths from Keswick, Carrock Fell, Bassenthwaite or Threlkeld. NO ACCESS BY CAR. Facilities are limited, very basic foodstore and no heating in the bedrooms.

Games room, self-catering kitchen, drying room, hot water and shower, cycle store and grounds. 24v lighting only, bring a torch. Credit cards not accepted.
