Skiddaw House Hostel
A former shooting lodge at 1550ft beneath the summit of Skiddaw. Coal and wood burning stoves provide a warm welcome. On the Cumbria Way, with a choice of footpaths from Keswick, Carrock Fell, Bassenthwaite or Threlkeld. NO ACCESS BY CAR. Facilities are limited, very basic foodstore and no heating in the bedrooms.
