Carrock Fell Hostel
An old farmhouse, simple in character, in a peaceful hamlet on the edge of the Caldbeck Fells. An area of interest to archaeologists (Bronze Age hill fort) and geologists. Walk from the hostel up onto the Cumbria Way, across to Skiddaw House and down into Keswick. Visit nearby Caldbeck with its Priests Mill craft shop and John Peel's grave.
