18th century Castleton Hall and the adjacent 19th century Old Vicarage are in the heart of the village and offer a range of comfortable facilities to suit families (ten en suite rooms) and individuals alike. Treak Cliff, Blue John, Speedwell and Peak caves and caverns are nearby and the ruins of Peveril Castle are just above the hostel.
