A unique Victorian house perched on a wooded hillside overlooking the village (reached by the Great Plague of London 1665). Extensive grounds (including a crazy golf course), parking and comfortable accommodation make this a good base for exploring the Peak District and the historic houses of Eyam Hall, Chatsworth and Haddon Hall.
